Quality Policy
JEM Electronics' policy is to deliver defect-free, competitively-priced products on time to fulfill our customers’ needs and expectations. JEM's manufacturing facilities have been certified to meet the standards of TS 16949, ISO 9001:2008 and Medical ISO 13485. JEM is ITAR registered to provide custom cable assemblies for use in military equipment to U.S. government contractors. JEM is registered by UL and CSA to manufacture product meeting the UL/CSA safety requirements. To ensure that a high standard of workmanship and quality is maintained, JEM trains and certifies its personnel to the latest IPC standard (IPC-A-620). JEM also is a member of the WHMA, the Wiring Harness Manufacturer’s Association.
All products manufactured by JEM Electronics are 100% quality tested. JEM Electronics utilizes only the best equipment to test for resistance, continuity, hipot testing, and so forth. JEM's stringent testing practices guarantee consistent, high levels of quality.
In addition, JEM is continually seeking process improvement opportunities in order to provide our customers with the highest quality standards and on time delivery. JEM's facilities in Franklin, MA and Tijuana, Mexico both practice lean manufacturing and Six Sigma. JEM Electronics is continuously striving to eliminate waste in order to improve the quality of its product while reducing its cost.
