Injection Molding & Potting
JEM Electronics provides plastic injection molding and over-molding services. We utilize machines that provide an effective and low-cost method for plastic material drying. Our machines use hot air to dry materials that have absorbed moisture during packaging, transportation, and recycling.

View Full Size PictureWe also perform potting, which is the process of sealing a component with a plastic compound or material to exclude moisture, prevent short circuits, and provide strain relief. We can perform potting with various materials, including silicone-based materials used in high voltage applications and two-part epoxy compounds. Our potting machines are suitable for all types of fluids, allowing us to meet all of our customers’ potting needs.
In addition, JEM Electronics has the highest standards in place to ensure that all of our injection molding and potting services are of the utmost quality and reliability. JEM Electronics’ manufacturing facilities have been certified to meet the standards of TS 16949 and ISO 9001, and we also have been registered by UL and CSA to manufacture product meeting the UL/CSA safety requirements. JEM trains and certifies its personnel to the latest IPC standard (IPC-A-620) to ensure that a high standard of workmanship and quality is maintained for every injection molding and potting service it provides.
