Military Cable Assemblies

For more than 20 years, JEM Electronics has provided custom cable assemblies for use in military equipment to U.S. government OEM contractors. Over the years, we have developed a vast knowledge of the programmatic and quality systems necessary to support product manufacture for U.S. military and government applications.  Our robust quality assurance processes ensure that JEM complies with all documentation requirements, product configurations, and validation requirements.   

 

 

JEM Electronics’ manufacturing facilities have been certified to meet the standards of TS 16949 and ISO 9001, and we also have been registered by UL and CSA to manufacture product meeting the UL/CSA safety requirements.  To ensure that a high standard of workmanship and quality is maintained, JEM trains and certifies its personnel to the latest IPC standard (IPC-A-620).

 

We use various testing equipment to 100% quality test cables and wire harnesses.  We are able to find defective or miswired cables instantly before equipment is damaged or time is wasted.  Our testers have a graphic wiring display that visually pinpoints wiring errors and that will pass/fail the wire harness in one second.  We are able to find opens, shorts, miswires, and intermittent connections, and we also can check for contact isolation and resistance thresholds.
