Sonic Welding
JEM Electronics utilizes sonic welding to produce very clean, spliced wire connections. Sonic welding is the process by which an acoustic tool is used to transfer vibration energy through parts to the surfaces that are desired to be joined. Some decisive advantages of this technology are improvements in the quality of the product, an efficient and repeatable process, a reduction in energy requirements, and an environmentally friendly process.
JEM uses machines with the latest technology to perform ultrasonic welding processes. Our ultrasonic welding equipment allows us to splice a wide variety of gauge wires. It also allows for rapid application and rapid tooling change-over.
