Testing

All products manufactured by JEM Electronics are 100% quality tested.  JEM Electronics utilizes equipment from various companies to test for continuity and resistance and to perform hipot and component testing to ensure the quality and workmanship of every product manufactured. 

 

JEM utilizes hipot testing to verify the reliability of a wire’s insulation when it is subjected to a high voltage.  JEM performs hipot testing up to 30 KV.  The equipment we use for hipot testing ensures good isolation between the parts of a circuit, guaranteeing the safety and quality of all electrical circuits we manufacture.  Our machines have built-in insulation resistance testers and provide the latest in technology and safety features.

 

We use various testing equipment to 100% quality test cables and wire harnesses.  We are able to find defective or miswired cables instantly before equipment is damaged or time is wasted.  Our testers have a graphic wiring display that visually pinpoints wiring errors and that will pass/fail the wire harness in one second.  We are able to find opens, shorts, miswires, and intermittent connections, and we also can check for contact isolation and resistance thresholds.  We continually are seeking testing improvement opportunities in order to provide our customers with the highest quality standards and on time delivery.
