Wire & Cable Stripping

JEM Electronics employs the latest programmable equipment to cut and strip wire and cable. We use various automated machines that allow us to strip wire and cable precisely and in a repeatable process. Our machines enable us to perform a wide range of size, speed, and cut possibilities with minimal set-up time. This automated equipment guarantees a high level of stripping quality.

We utilize various machines that allow us to strip discrete wires and small, multi-conductor cables.  Our machines allow us to strip wire and cable in short cycle times and also provide us with infinite settings for conductor diameters.  Our equipments’ stripping and pull-off lengths greatly increase our productivity.  Furthermore, our technologically advanced equipment increases our processing possibilities, allowing us to process various wires and cables, such as discrete wires, multi-conductor cables, and flat ribbon cables.

We use various testing equipment to 100% quality test cables and wires that have been stripped.  We are able to find defective or miswired cables instantly before equipment is damaged or time is wasted.  Our testers have a graphic wiring display that visually pinpoints wiring errors and that will pass/fail the wire harness in one second.  We are able to find opens, shorts, miswires, and intermittent connections, and we also can check for contact isolation and resistance thresholds. 

JEM Electronics’ manufacturing facilities have been certified to meet the standards of TS 16949 and ISO 9001, and we also have been registered by UL and CSA to manufacture product meeting the UL/CSA safety requirements.  In addition, JEM trains and certifies its personnel to the latest IPC standard (IPC-A-620) to ensure that a high standard of wire and cable stripping workmanship and quality is maintained.
